Arches national park, Ut. – Great photo ops and open skies. The rock on the right has to be the largest ….. well You figure it out. Mother Nature had something on her mind here.

This is a great little gem if You love nostalgia. Just off highway 40 about 30 miles West of Williams,Az.. Home of Angel and his barber shop of over 50 years. Angel and his brother were the driving factors which brought old Rt. 66 back into the hearts of travelers. During the summer You will encounter Tour buses up one side of this little town and down the other .It is a favorite stop either coming or going to the south rim of the Grand Canyon for tourists as far away as Japan.
a must visit location.

No matter what You say about the grand canyon one thing is for sure, it is without doubt one big hole !!!
This is a shot from the south rim at the "Watch tower " look out. It is a great view, You can see the Colorado river snake through the gorge for quite a disance.

Located just past the gate of south rim is the "Watchtower". Not as old as it looks it is actually a steel structure surrounded by rock. It is a great place to stop not just for thye view but has a gift shop, grocery store, bathrooms and gas station. 25 miles doen the road from Mather’s point and about 50 miles from Cameron thru Navajo lands

Monument Valley is one of the coolest places I drove tours from Vegas to. If You are a fan of old Westerns esp. John Wayne Westerns than Monument Valley should be a must for your travels. Gouldings lodge is the set of "She wore a yellow ribbon" the old potato shed used for John Wayne’s characters office still sits behind the old trading post and next to the new restaurant. A night spent at the Gouldings lodge will treat You to the most beautiful Sunrise You will ever have witness.
